Celebrate Pride Across the Nation

Happy Pride Month!

Pride celebrations are happening from coast to coast – not just this month, but in the coming months, too. Here are a few events we think look especially fun.

“Love Will Keep Us Together” is the theme for San Francisco’s 2022 Pride Celebration. The city will host its Celebration and Rally at the Civic Center Plaza on the weekend of June 25-26. The legendary Pride Parade is Sunday, June 26, in the heart of the city. Learn more at the San Francisco Pride site.

The Emerald City turns rainbow this month with a host of events to celebrate Pride. The Cuff Queer/Pride Festival is June 24-25 and will feature performances by Kim Petras, Princess Nokia and many more! The 2022 Seattle Dyke March is June 25, and the next day, the Seattle Pride Parade will hit the streets. Take your pride to the sand with the Alki Beach Pride Celebration in August.

Atlanta Pride

Save the date – Atlanta’s Pride Festival is October 7-9. The festivities include a parade, performances and so much more – keep an eye on atlantapride.org for more info.
Eager to celebrate now? The Atlanta Pride has a list of events including the Black Parent Pride Summit on June 25-26, Family Fun Day on June 26, and Coding Camps for Queer Youth in July.


Twin Cities Pride has a fun list of events this month! The main event – the Twin Cities Pride Festival – is June 25-26 in Minneapolis. Don’t miss the queen herself, Carly Rae Jepsen, who’s performing in Minneapolis on June 25. The Twin Cities LGBTQ+ Pride March honoring Ashley Rukes is the 26th. Get all the deets at tcpride.org.


Parades, marches and drag bingo are just a few events in Boston this month. This weekend includes Drag Bingo, Let’s Say Gay: a Community Pride Event and a Pride Gaymer Event. Next weekend, there will be a Trans Resistance March and a North Shore Pride parade and festival. The Boston Urban Pride Weekend kicks off June 30.


Oakland Pride returns this September for a fun-filled weekend including a parade, festival, digital marketplace and more. Stay tuned to oaklandpride.org for more details.


Sacramento’s Pride festivities have already happened this month, but there are more fun events on the way. Flatstick Pub is hosting a Queen of the Green Drag Queen Putt-off on June 26 – and who doesn’t love drag and putt-putt golf? Stay tuned to Sacramento Pride for more events.


Portland Pride’s Waterfront Festival and Parade hit the city earlier this month. It included the Dyke March, Pride Pics and more. The celebrations continue with the Let’s Pride Together Block Party on June 25 and the Portland Pride Paddle, also on the 25th.

Denver Pride


“Together with Pride” is Denver’s Pride Festival theme. The event is June 25-26 and features a pride parade, Denver Pride 5k and much more. Headliners include Betty Who, Kylie Sonique Love, Cazwell, Yvie Oddly and Silky Nutmeg Ganache. Find the deets at denverpride.org.


The Long Beach Pride Parade & Festival is July 8-10 and its theme is “Many Voices, One Spirit.” There are so many fun events at this festival, including a silent disco, S&M playground, roller rink, family fun zone, Werkshop Ballroom, drag makeup sessions and the Transcendence Dome. Festival headliners include Iggy Azalea, Natalia Jimenez and Paulina Rubio. Check out the full schedule at longbeachpride.com.
